This about sums up my life right now.

Bugs on Book Covers by Rose Sanderson

This combines many things I love, Bugs, Paintings, Bright Colors, Books, and Re-purposing. Ugh.

I think I’m in love. nrrrdcakkke:

I’ve been yapping about Astrocyte a lot lately what with Imagine RIT being this past Saturday (which went awesomely!), so if you want to learn more about it, here’s the mini-documentary that my team put together.

Hey look, it’s Hughes! Here’s a quick shot I put together so Shawn and I could finalize the style choices for his title sequence.

We’re setting up Astrocyte for test runs for ImagineRIT tomorrow! Can’t wait to show it off again.

If you like to make music (whether you’re good at it or not) and/or you like to boogie, we’ll be in building 7 room 1400 all day. You can stick it in your itinerary here.

Okay noooow I’m actually, officially, 100% totally wrapped on shooting The Last Four Years. Jesse helped me reshoot some parts of “Violent Daylight” today since we had some pretty baller weather and a good chunk of free time.

I keep trying to tell people I’m not a ginger and then things like this happen.

IN ANY CASE, if you’re in the Rochester area, I’ll be displaying all the final shots at ImagineRIT this Saturday in Experimental New Media’s mini-gallery of in-progress personal projects.

  1. Camera: Canon EOS DIGITAL REBEL XT
  2. Aperture: f/4.5
  3. Exposure: 1/800th
  4. Focal Length: 81mm

Adobe will sync all of its shortcuts across all of its programs.

And everything will be beautiful and nothing will hurt.

Animated Detective Hughes is soon to be at your service.

I’ve finished shooting for all eight of my sets for The Last Four Years - here’s a first look at all of them together. If you’re in your dashboard, you can click on the photos for current working set titles.
None of these are shots that will be used in the final book (some are just straight-up outtakes), but I’ve put them together to demonstrate the color progression over the course of the series. There’s a special personal significance in each of them that you’ll be able to learn about in the final web version of the project. I had the very last shoot for The Last Four Years today, with Isar, Yekaterina, and Morgan, with assistance from Halli and Jesse. Kind of bittersweet.
